Break out of your winter style rut with a sport-inspired look.

I don't know about you, but lately I've been wishing it was summer. It's warm, it's beautiful, and getting dressed while being comfy and looking good is a breeze. But since I don't have tickets to the Caribbean and you probably don't either (if you do, then go away), I figured the best way to tide myself over is to put together comfortable, simple, easy to replicate, and most of all, CHIC layered outfits. This one is sporty and fun but has a touch of glam due to the faux fur. Sneakers, two different washes of denim, and a good striped shirt is just what I need to beat those winter blues!

My special place.

Hey guys! One of my favorite places in the world (under a roof, at least) is our family cabin's window seat. It's old, it's not in the best shape, but it is so perfect for staring at the east-facing view (which happens to be equally gorgeous as its western partner, which usually steals the show due to the sunset, mountains and ocean), and for reading, snuggling up, and basically doing just about everything. I spend so much time there! And then there is this outfit -- black lace and military-inspired olive skinny jeans. Just perfect.

The Year In Shoes: The 2014 Trends I'm Walking Into 2015 With

The popular footwear that should not go away.

Hey guys! Wow, I haven't posted since last year... No! No! That joke is too overused. I'm sorry. Anyway, to start off 2015 on the right foot (haha!), I'm recapping my favorite shoe trends from 2014 – the ones I'll still be wearing all through this year. Since my entire blog is made up of photographs, mainly photographs of me, I'm doing something a little different – I've drawn all of the pictures here in graphite. I'm sorry for the bad quality of the pictures – you see, all I had was an iPhone camera and some awful lighting (it's been rainy and grey all week). Well, let's get into it – here are my 5 favorite shoe trends that I'm stepping into the New Year with!
